During 2013, the choir performed at a number of events during Breast Cancer Awareness month, notably the Pink Ribbon Ball (Breast Cancer Campaign), the Inspiration Awards for Women (Breakthrough Breast Cancer) and at a MacMillan coffee morning on Park Lane – and also live on television for ITV’s “This Morning” programme to promote the single.

In October 2014, the choir came together again with Camilla Kerslake and Blake to perform at Breast Cancer Care’s fashion show, and appeared with Camilla for a second time at the Inspiration Awards for Women.
In 2015, the choir re-formed with some original members and is also recruiting new members for potential events during Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
How amazing!!!!! I am a breast cancer survivor and also have been working hard to evidence and research arts and health. I really want to join a choir but can’t find one in the Bath area – I am a good singer – I was the first Mrs Johnston in Blood Brothers. Can any of you help me to find a choir to join?
Hello Marian, I’m Anne Stagg and I’m in the Sing 2 beat Breast Cancer Choir. I know the choir you should join – its ‘The Silver Ring Choir of Bath’. We have heard them and they are fantastic and probably at your level. . My step mother’s cousin and wife are in it (he is a retired GP from Combe Down), so I’ll let them know to look out for you.
You must sing to maintain your health and well being – and especially if you are a singer at heart already!
Hi Marian. Hope you find the choir and enjoy the singing. I have some arts/health projects on the go, so please do be in touch if you would like to know more (alilyonATphonecoop.coop) Best wishes, Ali Lyon
I think the work you’ve done is simply phenomenal!!!! As well as being a pianist, composer, and singer/songwriter, I’m also a researcher, author, and guest speaker on an arts/health issue, Music & Epilepsy.
Keep up the good work, you’re amazing. Xxx
